Seeraga Samba Recipes

Seeraga Samba Ghee Pongal


Seeraga Samba Rice 1 Cup
Pasiperupu ½ Cup
Cumin 1 Spoon
Curry leaves as Needed
Chopped ginger 1 Spoon
Ghee 2 Spoon
Pepper 1 Spoon
Water as Needed
Himalayan Salt as Needed
Cashew Nuts 1 Spoon

Soak a cup of Seerga samba rice and half a cup of Pasi perupu for half an hour.

Add 1 Spoon ghee in Pan with pepper, a tablespoon of cumin, Chopped giner , a bunch of curry leaves and a little cashew nuts and stir well and fry it.

In a rice Cooker Add the rice and Pasiperupu soaked in the cooker and mix well then add 5 cups of wate. Keep the lid on and wait until 5 whistles come.

Add 1 tablespoons ghee and stir well. Now Seeraga Samba Poongal is Ready
